Prayer For Our Family's Situation
 

Hi everyone,
Not a real terribly serious prayer request, but one that can have serious consequences nonetheless.

Our babysitter has just informed us that she can no longer babysit our kids after the end of May.
We can not afford not to have my wife not work (at this time) anad she is getting worried that not only will she have a scedule that she can not keep but that our finances will suffer because of this.

We need to find another babysitter-at least for June, July, & August.

God is good and he still is a Prayer Answering God.:thumbsup

I'll be praying. I have to pay $100 a week for one child during the summer. Childcare is terribly expensive. God can work it out!

Ron, I'm praying for you, too. Wish you lived here in Ohio. Home daycare is what I do!!! I'd take your children in a heartbeat!!

Do you mind if I ask what the going rate is there for daycare? I charge $2.25 per hour per child. So one child, for 40 hours a week is $90.00. It sounds like alot, but if you have your kids in a center here, the cost is at least double that amount per child for full time. And you pay whether you're there or not at a center. I only charge if the kids are actually here in my home.

I know if you find someone kind enough, or a friend, they will only charge Three
bucks an hour per child.
If you have three kids, it is ten bucks an hour but still affordable.

After school care is usually 15-20 bucks per child for about an hour and a half or two hours.

It can rise from there.
Still, it is finding someone good, trustworthy & reliable on short notice that is the problem.
