Not bad. I equate that brokenness with repentance. Coming to the end of self. "Godly sorrow" works repentance.

I believe repentance has a part in it. But beyond the repentance, I see it as a state of humility. When God has broken someone, and they are living in a Christian state of brokenness, they have been humbled.
