My wife was raised in Oneness Pentecost and was quite narrow minded about "Catholics." She has changed a lot since then and we now go to a "trinity" church where she accepts Charismatics and Catholics as brothers and sisters.
Three years ago she had surgery for ovarian cancer and wound up staying in the hospital for 9 days as several things went wrong and she had some serious problems. One day she was in some real distress and prayed desperately that God would send an "angel" to help her. The "angel" who appeared was a young man working on his nurse's degree while working in the hospital. He ministered to her needs and helped her in such a kind and loving way that she was very grateful and appreciative. When she tried to thank him he told her, "Well, I used to work at such and such (don't remember what it was now) but I thought I could serve God better as a nurse." She asked him what church he went to and he replied "Catholic." I told her later that God has a sense of humor and saw to it that a "Catholic" would be the one to minister to her just when she needed it most. Afterward she discussed it with some of the nurses and described what happened. They all commented, "Well that had to be so and so, but he usually doesn't work on this floor" or "He's not here that often" or "God must have sent him here that day just for you."
