This is the Law of God in the New Covenant. Fulfilling is a word that is so miss-understood. It's simply to complete. Love complete's these things. You will pay for what you owe if you love, you'll not commit adultery if you love, you'll not steal if you love, nor bear false witness etc... love makes all these complete or fulfills them.

I agree with you, i just want to point out where does the empowering to Love others as Christ love us come from.

Speaks of the LOVE OF GOD shed abroad in our hearts by the HOLY GHOST! GOD IS LOVE. IF we have the Spirit of
GOD, we should LOVE as HE LOVED!
Perhaps to those who have the HOLY GHOST, we need to let (allow, permit) the HOLY GHOST to have more of us!:nod

Yes, I agree. Love is the fullfilling of the law. I was talking about the ten commandments a few years ago, and my friend suggested that if we ''love God and our brother''....we tend to obey all 10 automatically.

And there is no loophole for the two greatest commandments. The more granular you get with the commands the easier it is to follow the letter but not the spirit of them. Kind of hard to do that with just two though!

I remember a little Sun. School chorus the children used to sing.

I want more of Jesus, more and more and more.
I want more of Jesus, than I've ever had before.
I want more of His Great Love, so rich, so full, and free.
I want more of Jesus, so I'll give Him more of me.

I don't believe we could ever exhaust His Great Love.
If we all strive to give Him more of us, I believe things
would be better!
