I just wanted to say how thankful I am for God's mercy, His goodness, His longsuffering, His love.... all the goodness of the Lord.

I had the wonderful priviledge of being Ordained this past Saturday night. I was already licensed in the ministry, but hadn't been Ordained since leaving the Church of God and coming into Truth.

I am humbled by God's call, His willingness and ability to use non-perfect vessels, and the burden He places on us to reach the lost. Very thankful for the opportunity to even be just a door stop in the house of God, and a worker with all of you in the Kingdom. Thank God for His goodness and the call.

Congratulations, Bro. Robbins, on your ordination.

Evidently your service has been observed and proven and your leaders have confirmed by the ritual of ordination what God has already displayed in your life.

i wouldnt consider the church of God not truth, i grew up in it and they are fine spirit filled people living lives for God in that denomination.

No change in Title.... still a Rev. just like I was before... just went from licensed to Ordained....

I do believe there is some Truth in COG teachings... but it's certainly not full Truth... and having been educated in a COG Bible College, and was credentialled with them for 18 years... there are some huge areas in COG doctrine where they are very misled and deceived.

I appreciate my time in that church, and love the memories I have, but I'm thankful to have come into Apostolic Truth.

yes i agree there are many holes in teachings any where you go to. but i dont believe any of us will ever get full truth, until we get raised from the dead and get that Hidden mana.

our understandings is so limited in many ways. Did you by chance go to lee university college?

I did not, Lee was way too liberal for me when I was deciding to go to school. I went 2 years to East Coast BC (now merged with Lee), and then finished my degree much later with 3 years at Holmes (independent, but strong COG funding).

Lee has a awsome choir, we head them sing last year and it was terrific, the Spirit went through out that church. God shows himself in the praises of his people. well brother God Bless in your new appointment.

Which choir? They have about 5 or 6, then about a dozen ensembles. If you get get to hear the voices of Lee, under the direction of Danny Murrey, they are phenominal and will bless you as well. The school being a liberal arts university and not just ministry centered has led it to being pretty liberal and they stopped requiring their teachers to be COG and believe COG doctrine... so for anyone wanting to do ministry, they typically don't go to Lee anymore.... some of course do because of family or heritage. Most conservatives go elsewhere, and then attend the School of Theology for their post graduate work.

this is just a question to satisfy my curiosity --not to start a debate or hijack this thread.

Did you as a CoG preacher believe you would see three beings in Heaven?
