Baby Andrew Needs Prayer
 

Many of you have seen my prior posts regarding little Andrew who received his heart transplant just weeks ago, and who is soon going to be 4 months old. He's still in NICU, and is experiencing some big issues. There are still issues with the blood clot in his shoulder, even though they did surgery. This morning his parents were told he is losing some blood, so he's having to receive blood once a week, but the source of the loss is not known.

Also, there is fluid showing in one lung now, he's requiring assistance breathing, and they are still taking fluid off him because of the blood clot. He's very weak, blood pressure is all over the board, and he's having great difficulty today.

Your prayers are much appreciated.

Brother Robbins, I feel truly sorry for Baby Andrew and his family, to hear that he is not doing well.

I pray for God's blessings and that His Will be done in this situation.

Once again I am praying for this child. I am praying that God takes this situation now and straighten it out as only He can do.

Prayed for this little guy and his family a couple of times today.

I don't do Facebook, but a coworker updates us, and sent us late last night this post from Andrew's parents..... not good, thanks for the continued prayers....

Good evening to all in Fb land. Well today has been one of the days we dread. This evening Andrew fell back to square one and had to be placed back on the ventalator. He struggled all during the day to keep the numbers up but was working too hard. So now he is resting in comfort. He also had to get a new chest tube put in for the right side. They noticed that on the x-ray this morning a build up of fluid. Once inserted the fluid was released but it doesn't help with the lung itself.

After resting tonight they will look at the lungs tomorrow from the inside with a camera. This will help to determine if it's a lung problem or if he is just so weak from the drainage it pulls him down. So we are trying to pull ourselves up and start again tomorrow looking for the sunny side of the street. We hope you have a blessed night.

One of the things that gives me peace about this is knowing that the person who is least concerned with the fate of baby Andrew is mostly likely, baby Andrew.
