Rough Day
 

Having a rough day at work...I work 7 days on 7 days off which when it all adds up means I spend more time with my partner on the ambulance than I do at home with my wife...I've been working as an EMT for a year and I had alot of insecurities when I first started but with more experiance I overcame them...until today....just feels like I have reached the emotional breaking point...its kinda snuck up on me and hit kinda hard....don't wanna get into all the details but I just need some peace....I feel like I've lost the strength to fight and I need God to intervene.

Sorry to hear that Jedi! I will say a prayer for you.

That is a tough schedule. I think you and your wife must talk and prepare emotionally when you are getting ready to do a long schedule. Bless you, and may God give you that very peace that you need.

Jedi, you have a hard job and very tough schedule. But what you do is sooooooo very important! It is people like you who were the first step in saving my husband's life 6 years ago. And my husband, Walt, has been on the Fire Department here in our town for over 40 years now. I have the UTMOST respect and admiration for you guys! Yes, I am praying for you right now. Thank you for what you do, brother.

Its not the calls that bother me....just people I work with...I love my job.....@Margie I appreciate my firebug brothers n sisters too...they are so helpful on scene.
