Computer expert anyone?

Both my computers were hacked. When I contacted yahoo since that was the source of discovering my email account had been hacked they referred me to pcexpert247 who for a fee fixed both computers.

However, they removed my Norton security (which did not catch my virus). Anyone here ever used this company and what are your thoughts about removing the Norton and Malware security programs?

Esther,
Hopefully, they did not remove your antivirus program but disabled it temporarily. Check in your programs list for it and activate it again. Otherwise, I would suggest contacting PC Expert 247 on how to reinstall.

I saw them uninstall the malware. Don't know about the Norton. They iinstalled Microsoft security instead.

AVG is the best anti virus I have found. And you can get it free.

I use Avast which is also free. I chose Avast over AVG because someone told me that it doesn't use as much RAM or CPU power as AVG.

When did Avast go free?

I had to pay them when I had a Windows for my operating system and IE for my browser.

I use Norton Antivirus myself and have found it to be good enough to warrant the $20 a year fee it costs to keep it current (this license also covers three separate computers).

I have tried almost ALL the free stuff.

That's what I use also. My "computer doctor" said it was just as reliable
as any you could pay good money for.
