An old friend...
 

Spoke with an old friend today and they relayed the stuff they're going through.

She's got a lot of physical conditions that she blames on the fast living she used to do (drugs, drink, anger, etc).

She's suffering a great deal now.

Lots of things wrong...


She doesn't believe in God, but I know God believes in her, so I'd like to ask that you pray for her when you remember to.

I won't mention her name for a specific reason... God knows who she is and sees her situation.

I'd like to see God do great things in her life and show her he is real and he loves her.

God has a way of bringing people around. I have a friend who claims he didn't believe in God. His mother suffered a ruptured aorta a couple of years ago-- and he had his wife to call me and ask me to pray for his mom. I put her name on the church prayer chain. God healed his mother, and she is still living today-- when they had said she would never survive the airlift from the small town they live in to Chicago.

He now acknowledges that there IS a God... He hasn't come to repentance yet-- but I believe that he will-- he has been asking me lots of questions. When the time is right-- I will ask him if I can send someone in his area to his home to give them a Bible Study.

I will be praying for your friend.... God is able to make himself real to her.
