Fallen Angels?
We take it for granted that the devil and his can read our thoughts and thereby influence what we do. If heaven lost one-third of it's angels to evil and mankind will lose two-thirds to evil---then could each of us have our own fallen angel placed within us to influence us to sin? Could we each have our own personal battle with a fallen angel/devil? It is written that the angels are kept under cover of darkness until the day of judgement and that man can be enlightened through Christ. God says that He wishes that none of mankind be put where He intends to put these angels. He also said that we would judge angels. Do they constantly try to keep us in the dark and tempt us to sin? God says that only one-third of mankind will be spared and no fallen angel. What do you think?

Re: Fallen Angels?
Demons/fallen angels can't read minds. We are at war with them, but usually only when we are not fighting our flesh do they see us as a threat. The last statement is IMHO.

Re: Fallen Angels?
Agreed, no where does scripture say angels know our thoughts. I'm pretty sure Satan and his minions have gotten pretty good over time at judging body language.
The only sinful temptations we have to overcome are of the flesh. It is the only thing we have control over. Satan tempts the flesh. That is where our personal battle is, not with fallen angels. |
Re: Fallen Angels?
The devil cannot read our minds or our thoughts. The Bible says that the enemy throws fiery darts at our minds. In other words, he can send a certain impression or temptation into our minds but cannot read it.

Re: Fallen Angels?
Many people in the time of Jesus had an evil angel (demon) inside them. Jesus would cast the demon out. No doubt many lost people today have evil angels inside them. They control these people to some degree or the other.
A Spirit filled Christian is filled with Christ's Spirit and controlled and influenced by him. The demons study the Saint and learn his weaknesses and then bring them into situations where they are most likely to sin. We are to yield our members to obedience to Jesus. As long as we do that the demons cannot take us over. If we resist the devil he will flee from us. |
Re: Fallen Angels?
I was taught that while both devils and unclean spirits are demons... there is a distinction between the two.
Anyone else taught this or believe this? |

I watched a episode of the ghost hunters, the man was agnostic. he didnt know if there was a heaven or hell, but he made the comment however there definantly something at work beyond the grave. while he thinks its dead peoples ghost i am more to believe these are the Spirits that have fallen. I also remember watching a catholic do a exorcism. a girl, who they strapped down in a chair at the womens concent. When the man started praying the women got mean quick. Some of the first words was that she spoke was "I exsist" "I exsist" the priest answered proove it. the women said" war, Hatred, envy,Lust, I exist" pretty chilling stuff |
Re: Fallen Angels?
I was taught that unclean spirits are disembodied spirits of Nephilim... the demonic spawn of the Bene Ha'Elohim (a class of fallen angels).
I've since discovered that virtually nobody else has been taught this. lol |
