What do you think of a no hire database
Many companies have banned together photographing and identiflying those involved with disruptive movements like the Occuply movement -- where possible employees would have unproductive mindsets like an entitlment mentality. With this information, they have created shared "no hire" databases.
Upon looking at all the dammages to property and attacks on police officers the Occuply movement is known for, I think this is a great idea. What do you think? and why? https://www.google.com/#hl=en&sclien...iw=819&bih=419 |

I personally love the idea and you get bet your boots I would use such a database if I was hiring.
But I can also imagine people making an industry out of getting on it and suing every business they apply with who uses it for not getting hired. |

The Supreme court has already ruled in favor of no hire databases as long as the criteria of that database is strickly based on the expectation of employee performance(attitudes like entitlment mentality, past performance on other jobs).

I have very mixed feelings about it. Mostly young people were involved in the rallies/riots or the occupy movement... I think we could fairly liken it to the war protests of the 60s.
Most of the folks involved in those protests went on to marry, have children, get good jobs and become productive tax paying citizens... Some have even come to know Jesus :) Maybe none of those things would have been possible if technology had allowed us to capture their sins and label them for life. I am not entirely sure that the Christian position, which should be forgiveness based, should include a willingness to use this database for 'no hire'. I could see it being used to formulate some interview questions to sort who might really have an entitlement mentality verses who just got caught up in a moment... And we might also give a moment to understanding that many of the concerns of the movement are legitimate. ROFL... anal probe... it would be faster and more accurate if that was what was used. |

BD - I do not know where you get your information, but I can tell you it would be very difficult for a public company to use a no hire database.
There are too many legal implications. Especially if your company does any business with the federal government. As for EEOC, my company has seen more EEOC charges in the past 3 years than in the previous 10, combined. Not one of those charges has been deemed to have any merit, but it has not stopped EEOC from filing them. |

I know that such a thing is extremely evil and anti-christian.

Now we want to be lke Hitler and get rid of those who we do not like.:foottap wow, some company refused to give me my 401K after I quite until I threatended legal action. I was told I am on their no-hire list. So, I have to fight for what is mine when I lose my job and am put on a no hire list. :smack So, what do you think should be done to such people, welfare? death camps? how do you propose we deal with no-hires. deny a person the right to work-wow. Where is the love of christ? |
