Apostolic Swimwear
 

Hello! I am an Apostolic male. I know that modesty in dress is different from person to person and church to church. I personally do not wear shorts or short sleeves (typically 3/4 length sleeves or longer). I am able to find tons of websites selling modest swimwear for women but not alot for men. What sites I find that do have mens swimwear, I would'nt consider modest or holy. Does anyone know of some websites or have any suggestions, thoughts, or advice? Thank you!

hey, you could check out historical swim wear and have made a 1920's style outfit. :thumbsup :happydance :heeheehee

"back in the day", we were at the national biblequiz, at a really nice hotel, and our own entire teams (and coaches) all jumped in the pool completely dressed. I look back now thinking boy that was weird.

It's shorts (to the knee) and t shirt for me now, in or out of the pool, but I respect others' different convictions.

Modest swimwear to me means to swim mixed company. I'm not for mixed company swimming.

If I'm swimming with all guys (let's say in a camping setting), then I don't need modest swimwear. :)

Not only does it protect against the cold but it is also modest at the beach!

We're going to a beach and I do plan on taking my kids to the beach. This may or may not be mixed. Regardless most beaches and pools are never 100% private. So If am reading your post correctly then it only matters who is in the water. It doesn't matter who is around and may see you? Just for the record, the same amount lust can occur if half naked person was sitting on a church pew with mixed company or that same half naked person was swimming in a pool with mixed company. Adding water would'nt make is sinful.
