Upc stance on Men's "shorts"
I'll define as...say..anything less than full length pants.
Is there a UPC "stance at all? I VERY seldom (never?) see any UPC men wearing long shorts(or any at all for that matter), yet theres nothing in the bylaws that I am familiar with anyway. Is it simply one of those unsaid things("marks of devotions":D), men only wear full length pants, yet women should wear skirts atleast to the knee..., as to avoid the "uncovering of the thigh"..? It's been hitting over 100' most days the last few weeks, and I see nothing wrong with men in long shorts modesty wise, tho I think I am very likely "frowned upon" for doing such a thing, especially outdoor church functions like out reaches in the mid afternoon. (Not sure I care all that much tho). Thoughts? |

Oral tradition?
I always found it stupid to wear pants to the beach that were rolled up to the knees. |

I wear shorts about 8 months out of the year.

IMHO short shorts are immodest and can be revealing in a way that no one finds attractive if one sits a certain way.
