Please HELP!

My dog has a problem and I don't feel comfortable talking about it publicly. It's kind of funny, but not really because I really don't know what to do to help her out.

If anyone has any experience with dogs and are willing to give advice that doesn't include taking her to the vet, please PM me.

Thanks.

I'm scared to ask.

Seriously. I mean, is she humping visitors' legs or something? Wiping her butt on the carpet leaving that 'tell-tale' streak? Eating what she should not be eating?

Foaming at the mouth? Biting the neighbors? Meowing late at night?

C'mon, it can't be THAT bad!

Can it?

It's not life or death... yet, but it's not something to discuss publicly.

I once had a dog that never had puppies in all her 14 years. I had this small toy stuffed monkey that was the same color as she.

She took that monkey and protected and nurtured it like it was her puppy...and she would not let anybody take it from her.

Dogs can be strange in their actions sometimes.

I was a vet tech for five years before going to nursing school.

I own a farm and 'work on' all my own critters.

I am not easily shocked.

PM away.

T2W would have good advice Jermyn. I would not hesitate to do what she advises.

We had a small part poodle dog that had a litter when she was very young. We never had her fixed because after her first litter she never went into heat again.

She started slowing down when she got around 9 years old but all of sudden after almost a decade went into heat and got pregnant! She had a bunch of puppies and it miraculously rejuvenated her. I had to have her put to sleep at the age of 17 because she was almost completely blind and was in poor health but after that litter of papers at about age 9 she was like a puppy until she was about 14 or 15 years old. It was weird.

He made her feel young again. Stella got her groove back.
