our news
Awesome things are happening in Brazil. This past weekend over 25 souls that I know about came to the Lord. Also a very tragic accident resulted in at least 8 backsliders returning to the Lord.
The work in Brazil has grown to mammoth size making it impossible for Brother Alvear and I to visit all the conventions and camps however we go to as many as we can. We stay booked up and people always begging us to come somewhere else. Thank the Lord for good solid growth. We are spending much of our time teaching and helping to establish the new works. We are so thankful for good men and women of God that are always reaching out to help us. We were able to send a group to brother Ryan Thompson’s service last Saturday night. We want to thank those that have sacrificed and helped us so much. We are grateful for your help. You are some of God’s most noble people. In the month of Aug we will be in the states if you would like to contact us please do so at our e-mail address. The church in Belem is busy working on their building by faith and I would like to thank anyone that has or is planning to help that sweet little group of people. They have run into a few extra expenses but that is the way it goes. We have been trying to work on the Maceio church however the rains have hindered us so much. We are also working on several other projects at the moment. The retaining Wall is looking good but we still have much to do...wow...rain has really been something else this year. I thought about what David Sitton said, “We do not truly understand the gospel if we spend all of our time preaching it to Christians. The gospel is a missionary gospel. It is a communication of Good News to people and in places where the name of Christ is unknown.” So as you help us we will continue to reach out for more souls in South America. Your Missionary Friends Brother and Sister Raul Alvear Sr and family |

Good news Sis Alvear!
Now if only the dark regions in North America could catch this Holy Ghost fire! |
