What are some of your favorite quotes? One of my favorites is

Re: Quotes

I have so many that I like, it is hard to choose. Some times I put a quote on facebook. These are some I like:

Do you add God to all that you’ve got going on rather than join Him in all that He is doing? Bill Johnson

The only reason that you could be jealous of another believer is that you don’t see clearly who you are in Christ. Bill Johnson

The BEST you is trapped in seed-form, ready to "fall to the ground, die & bring forth..." (Jn.12:24)
Suc-seed yourself! Phil Munsey

"A lot of our convictions are preferences, and that is all right. But don't impose your preference upon someone and call it holiness."

"We must be the change we want to see in the world" attributed to Mahatma Gandhi (October 2, 1869..– January 30, 1948). This quote appears in several different versions. I agree with the thought.

The late John Wimber (February 25, 1934 - November 17, 1997) founder of the Vineyard Churches said, “We have all been called to love the things Jesus loves, so we have no choice but to love the whole church --even the denominations whose beliefs we may not agree with or those parts we do not understand.”

Smith Wigglesworth (June 18, 1859 - March 12, 1947) often said, "I would rather die trusting God than live in unbelief."

The Five “Watches” Watch your thoughts; they become words.Watch your words; they become actions.Watch your actions; they become habits.Watch your habits; they become character.Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.—Frank Outlaw

“The Father is that which is invisible aboutthe Son,
the Son is that which is visible about the Father.” Irenaeus

“You don’t get to choose how you’re going to die or when. You can only decide how you’re going to live now.” Joan Baez

Which is it: “Good morning, Lord,” or “Good Lord, it’s morning.”
Steve Sjogren

"God does not scratch an itching intellect, He satisfies a hungry heart"
Derek Prince (1915 - 2003)

Not everyone sees it just like you do. That doesn't automatically make them wrong.- Raymond Bishop

Put God first each day (Matthew 6:33)

Accept His mercy each day (Lamentations 3:22-23)

Depression is anger turned inward.
Fat is food turned outward.

Yesterday is a cancelled check. forget it. Tomorrow is a promissory note. Don’t count on it. Today is ready cash. Spend it wisely or Today is a gift from God. That's why it's called "the present."

"Always keep in mind that when we you're down to nothing, God is up to something." Marvin Knobloch

There never was a "day of miracles" but there is a God of miracles and He never changes. John Osteen 1921-1999

We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing. George Bernard Shaw

Re: Quotes

"Can the believing husband in Heaven be happy with his unbelieving wife in Hell? Can the believing father in Heaven be happy with his unbelieving children in Hell? Can the loving wife in Heaven be happy with her unbelieving husband in Hell? I tell you, yea! Such will be their sense of justice that it will increase rather than diminish their bliss."

Jonathan Edwards

Re: Quotes

"No matter what you buy your wife for your anniversary, you'll find on sale for 50% off the next day. Corollary: Your wife will then assume you bought it because it was cheap." - From the book of Murphy.

Lol...priceless.

T, you might have picked a quote by Alistair Crowley, or something?
You know, someone a bit closer to God?

Love your quotes Sam :)

Here's s'more....

Going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than going to a garage makes you a car.

The will of God will never take you to where the grace of God won't protect you.

Kind hearts are the garden. Kind thoughts are the roots. Kind words are the flowers. Kind deeds are the fruits.

Count your blessings. Not your problems.

Having a sharp tongue may cut your own throat.

If you find yourself with time on your hands - put 'em together and pray.

If you're too busy to pray, you're too busy.

Your life may be the only Bible some people read.

Trust God's authority - not man's majority.
