romney wants to cut the budget by 7 trillion without cutting social security, medicare or defense while passing more tax cuts for the rich. where do the cuts come from? medicaid, pell grants, job training and food stamps. all programs for the poor. how can a christian support tax cuts for the rich by cutting programs for the poor? shame, shame, shame

How can a Christian support a government spending more than they have to spend---does the "Borrow is a slave to the lender" ring a bell?

There are more people on food stamps since Obama became president. Gas prices are doubled. Groceries cost more. People are poor because liberal Democrats keep the poor poor.

DM, what is the single most influential source of job creation? Find the answer to that question---the real answer---and you'll solve a lot of the poor's problems. A poor man needs a job, not a handout!

At some point, welfare will go broke & be available to no one, if it doesnt go back to it's original intent: to be used by those who find themselves in destitute situations,beyound their control, until they get back on their feet--get full time job.
But, business must be hiring full time employees for this to happen.
But, business cant afford to hire full time employees (since they will also have to provide them with health insurance) without taking future benefits from it's exsisting employees (raises,ect..)
So, business dont hire.
So, folks cant find full time jobs.
So, folks stay on welfare.

I am convinced, our only hope is Men-filled with the power of Holy Ghost (leads & guides us into ALL truth)-take charge over our country...we need HolyGhost filled Men of GOD as President/Congressmen/Senators/ect..
That wont happen,until Men of GOD run for these offices.

Used to be that able-bodied men and women had to work in some fashion for the state when they received welfare benefits.

Men would do road work...pick up trash...whatever needed to be done.
