Texas Delegates Mutiny

http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/ticket/t...225837647.html

TAMPA--On Monday morning, at a meeting of more than 100 Texan delegates and alternates at the Saddlebrook Resort 20 miles north of Tampa, one topic got the crowd more fired up than any other. Delegate Melinda Fredricks read aloud a letter condemning recent changes to the national Republican party's rules that would allow the GOP presidential candidate to veto and replace state delegates.

If this RNC rule is allowed to stand, they are usurping the will of the people.

Texas took care of business. We are the ones carrying the big stick, it appears. And even though they backed down, they are still power grabbing Rhinos.

Well I thought I might vote for Paul Ryan. Now I saw today Romney says abortion is ok for a womans HEALTH. Anyone in pro life knows what that means. He has no conviction about it whatsoever.

Yeah, so lets not support Romney and insure Obama is re-elected because he has so much conviction about abortion.

This is not the election where the drivers should be social issues. Our economy is in tatters and we need more than a left wing socialist community organizer at the helm.

I don't know how liberal Romney is on abortion but it can't be as liberal as Obama is. Ron Paul is strong against abortion. The Republican platform will have a "token" plank about abortion. Barack Obama is in favor of abortion at any time, even after the birth of the child.

where did you see that? I think his position is if the LIFE of the mother is at risk not the health.

Michael, I am totally opposed to Abortion in all cases.. no matter what, I believe it's murder. However, of the two clear choices you have.... and if Abortion is your compass for voting... you have one man who may favor it when the life of the mother is at stake... and another man who has gone on record for not only favoring partial birth abortions where the baby is murdered partly outside the womb.... but also said, in cases where babies actually survive a botched abortion and are living outside the womb... he didn't favor getting medical help to that now living, breathing baby.....

So you tell me... is there not something inside of you that tells you the stand of the two men is night and day???

Romney is no worse than my husband. My husband and I vehemently disagree over the "mother's life" clause. He has told me in no uncertain terms that if HE ever had to choose between me and an unborn baby, he would pick me. As persuasive as I am :D, I haven't been able to budge him on that one.
