Whether you enjoy black gospel or not (I personally grew up on it) this is great news. I rarely watch the show but I saw the last episode. The boy can sing. His mother is the pastor of True Believers Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ in Greeleyville, South Carolina. I think he's the youngest winner of the Nationally broadcasted television series at 18 and the first male winner. :happydance

I LOVE this show! But, I missed last night! Had a feeling Joshua was going to win though. He truly sings with The Annointing! CONGRATS JOSHUA!

First, the writer of the article wrote the word as Joshua said it. Second, having spent 24 years in the COOLJC, I can tell you that it is quite common to hear it pronounced that way...and yes, I saw your heeheehee little dude.
