Low Carb Diet Anyone?
just read a book by dr. bernstein about how diabetics should eat a low or no carb diet. I've slowly been adjusting my diet. omelets in the morning, sugar free jello for snack and chili with a side of chicken breast or skirt steak with greens for dinner. pizza once a week. no rice, bread, potatoes, pasta, crackers, chips or sugar free cookies. my sugar is low to the point of not needing insulin and i've lost a few pounds already.
was wondering if anyone else is on a low carb diet and what other types of meals could be added to the diet. thanks for the chili ideas ferd. |

I've had multiple people in my family go on the low-carb diet and lose weight really fast, but they all seem to gain it back eventually. I'm trying not to take any shortcuts. I just want to be healthier and more energetic! (And fit into a size 6 again!!!!! :D) |
