Do you watch Good Morning America? Did you see the meteorologist Sam Champion make his announcement this morning that he and his male friend are now engaged?

Yes, and I did see it! I always wondered of Sam was gay, so now we know for sure! Sam is not in Christian ministry, so I don't see how this changes anything.

You did?? That thought never even entered my mind. Guess I must not be observant enough or something.

So if you are not in Christian ministry it is ok to be gay?

I want to think of myself as pretty "tolerant" and non-judgmental. So when I saw this this morning, I immediately tried to tap into those feelings. But then in my heart, I kept thinking that this country is going more and more the direction of Sodom and Gomorrah. I find that frightening. So, honestly, I am now feeling very torn. I think the guy does a good job. And I think it's none of my business what goes on his private bedroom. But at the same time, things like these kinds of announcements make me very, very concerned for us as a nation UNDER GOD.

Is there an answer? I don't know. Wish I did.

Why did he have to get up in front of America...."Good Morning America" and make such an announcement? It seemed to me like they might be rubbing it in the conservative Christian's face. And they made sure we understood that all of those on the couch, and even one on sick leave, all were in agreement.

I don't watch GMA but I usually have the same reaction you do. Even given my comments on the transgendered thread and given that I know these things (that people truly can have biological issues) and really try to be open-minded about people's issues, it's hard to understand. I guess we just don't know who has biological issues and who is perverted and not knowing always gives me pause....

The world (hopefully not the church); People begin to accept it one person at a time and pretty soon it is just acceptable. That is the way the devil does it. He always justifies sin. We are living in a modern day Sodom and Gomorah. The BLOOD OF JESUS can set them free if they want to be free.

I don't watch GMA but saw this yesterday as a news story somewhere on the web. Had a picture of him and his er......ah....husband.

I predicted several years ago when everybody loved tv's first major gay character on "Will & Grace" that making a gay character funny and appealing was the first step in moving from "tolerate us" to full on demanding everything they are demanding today;

-Marriage
-Sex Education that promotes homosexuality
-Right for same sex couples to adopt young children

The next step will be to make opposing homosexuality "hate speech" and making it illegal as some European countries have already done. There are countries where a preacher will go to jail for preaching against homosexuality.

The media, education system, political system, etc are controlled by people under the power/authority of the prince of darkness, the god of this world.
