Whatever the Outcome...

Let's remember that the next leader of our country will be the person who is God's Will for our country.

As we hope and pray for our favored candidate to win, let our prayers continue for God's Choice for America in the months and years to come.

"Unchangeable, unshakeable, unstoppable..." He is "God Alone."

I can agree with the idea that the next leader will be the one God wants. I do not agree that = a blessing for the nation.

Do you think that we are at the point where God wants to curse America?

I don't for a second believe whoever is president the next 4 years is necessarily who God would want. It is the peoples will and they vote accordingly. Whatever happened to man given the freedom of choice? Scripture points to plenty of instances where man chose wrong but God used for good, what was meant for evil. All things will work for good for them that love the Lord and who are called according to His purpose. God is a master at taking our wrong decisions and incorporating them into His grand plan.

:thumbsup:thumbsup

And I sure wouldn't go around teaching and preaching doomsday if God did not specifically give me a word on it. It's just fear mongering and I reject fear mongering.

Our wrong decisions-- were they the secondary plans of God?
Did He or didn't He know what was going to happen?
Does His foreknowledge make Him culpable?

Does His Foreknowledge have no affect at all in the affairs of man?

Does God have a plan A and a plan B?

Does God operate within the confines of "If... Then" statements?

I think the Civil War was a judgement of God on America. That is what that looks like.

However, I also think God steps back from nations at times removing the blssing from them. I certainly think America is very close to such a decision on the part of God today.

Actually, I think He does at times. In the parable of the master inviting people to the banquet, the original plan of the master was to invite certain people and they (by their own will/excuses) refused to come. So plan B was to go out in to the highways and biways and compel others to come in and feast. But that was not his original plan. I do believe sometimes God lets people have their way, when it's not His plan.
