Travel Company

Has anybody had any experience with this? Looks and sounds like a cheap way to take trips to some great vacation sites if nothing else.

Have not had a chance to look at it extensively but from a quick peek looks to me like one of those multi level marketing things.

I have a friend who works with that. He's almost like a travel agent. Lol.

You're right. It is.

I took it like you could take advantage of the trip packages and the direct/online buying from major retailers like Walmart. There is a rewards system that credits your account with points toward future airfares.

You can choose wheather to do the business part or not. I am not in it. Looking it over.

returnperson,

With the advent of the internet you can seek out deals yourself that I believe would be difficult to match through this or any travel agency.

Some people don't like the bother but planning trips and finding bargains is a hobby of mine. I enjoy the planning and putting the pieces together almost as much as the trip.

This trip we took last May was almost a year in planning. We took a three week trip out of the country that included a 15 night transatlantic / Mediterranean cruise, visited Rome for four nights and all for under $5,000 for two people. This is a trip that would have cost most people $10-12,000.

Our trip included visits to;

Canary Islands ( just off Africa)
Through the strait of Gibralter -amazing! Europe (Portugal) on one side and Africa (Morocco I think) on the other.
Mallorca - Spanish Island
Barcelona Spain
Villa Franche, France
Nice, France
Monaco (Monte Carlo)
Florence, Italy
Rome, Italy

My dream job would be to own a travel agency but the internet has pretty much put them out of business except for ones that do cruises.

Cruise companies are about the only ones still paying travel agents commission.
