The Palestinian State?
 

To me this is asinine. Not that Im against a Palestinian state but the fact that this "state" is in two separate parts of lands.

Can this work? Would it be better if all the Palestinians lived in the West Bank?

The Palestinians already have a state. It's called Jordan.

It would be nice if it were that simple. Im sure you are aware there were Palestinians that were living in the part that was given to Israel in 1948. They did not want to have to move to another area.

As I understand it they (at least some) joined the Arab invasion force and thereby suffered the loss of their homes. Now they think they should get them back.

I THINK thats called "The right to return".

The Pals insist on that in peace talks. Also the 67 borders must be restored.

ANYTHING except move to Jordan.

There will never truly be a Palestinian state that the Palestinians are happy with. They weren't happy with the 1967 borders before the war... which is why the war began. So even IF we return to those borders, their object to wipe Israel off the map will remain the same.

There are "arabs" that live and work in Israel. They don't seem to mind

BTW, they can never return to those borders. There is not enough trust between the Muslim States around them and Israel to go back to those borders. Pre-67 Israel is much harder to to defend

Well yeah they should have been content to live among the Jews. Of course thats not the only issue.

The "Palestinians" do not accept Israel as a nation. In their "official" belief, Israel is to be annihilated.

The existence of "Palestinians" as they are now is a myth. There is no such animal. Every one of them are expats from various Arab nations that have decided to occupy by way of "squatters rights" on land that rightfully belongs to the Israelis. If they really wanted to establish a autonomous state let Egypt, Jordan, and Syria donate land (which they are not even using) to establish a new nation.

But of course that will NEVER happen........because the goal is NOT statehood.......but rather the total destruction/elimination of Israel.
