Re: Big win for gun-rights groups
I am a card carrying and dues paying member of the NRA and I have an NRA decal in the back window of my pick up truck. I do this in support of the NRA and the 2nd amendment. However, I do not personally own any firearms. I choose not to have any gun in my house but I support the right of people to own, carry, and use guns.

Now let's watch the crime rate go down in Chicago. :thumbsup

Re: Big win for gun-rights groups
A few years ago, DC had a similar ban over turned forcing them to allow conceal carry, but the legislation they came up with was so burdensome that the ban may just as well have been left in place. I "predict" that Chicago will do something similar at which point libs will proclaim "See! Even after allowing people to carry a hand gun, gun violence only went UP!" -simply because virtually no one (other than perps) will still be carrying anything.

Re: Big win for gun-rights groups
That's possible Randy.
I can remember growing up across the Illinois/Indiana border, they used to call our city "lil Chicago" because a lot of the thugs came over there to sell their dope and commit crimes before going home. I haven't been there in 37 years and I am told crime is worse than ever. My old neighborhood is now a slum area with many of the homes boarded up. My old homeplace has been torn down. (Google-earth is bittersweet lol) |

Next step is they will kick it up to another court. Thats the way libs operate. Hard to imagine Illinois allowing concealed carry. Hopefully for them it will be allowed to stand.
