Presidency is only 1/3 of gov. So those others were elected by the people as well.

Exactly. Leftists like Dedicated Mind and Belofante seem to think we are a democracy when in fact we are a Constitutional Republic. Under our system, the majority only rule where the Constitution allow it to.
