TBN

Watching a "Behind The Scenes" program in Russia, I can't help but be touched by some of the testimonies from other countries, Muslim countries, where people are being reached. I'm not a huge fan of TBN, but I can't criticize it either.

Anybody else have thoughts?

Seriously, I don't have any confidence in the Crouches, or a lot of people on TBN, or in religious broadcasting in general. It attracts people with egos who want to exalt the flesh. In spite of that, sometimes Christ is preached in the midst of all the self-promotion, and even if the motives aren't pure, the Word produces fruit.

BTW- I have a good friend and her hubby who are doing JUST THAT. God bless them. No daddy handed him a 'legacy'...His heavenly Father is sure blessin him, tho!!

Because God's WORD IS ANOINTED. This is why a preacher involved in adultery can stand behind a pulpit and preach the salvation message, and souls will be saved- not because the minister is okay, but because God will not go back on His Word... :nod

I agree with not4saken... only I dont think she has been strong enough in her repudiation of these tvchristians.

Widespread corruption. Plentiful false doctrine. Some people mat start their walk there. I dont see how they could go forward staying among them. Yet they are just one of many, many similar groups.

Not really into the "pentecostal-tacki" spectacle that is TBN but I would tune in to see Irvin Baxter or TFT. Whats up with the pink hair any way?

I only tune in if I know a certain singer will be on. The pink hair is like a Dolly Parton wannabe.

It's no longer on our cable tv line up or on the " antenna network only" either.

I think it started with good intentions but it has deteriorated. Money and power win out every time!
