Here is a little news story that caught my eye this morning.

LAKE CITY, Fla. -
A Lake City man is behind bars after leaving a jewelry party Friday night empty handed.


One woman who thought it was a party gag pushed his hand aside while laughing saying, "It's only a water gun." Police say at this time Lee held the gun to that woman's head and said, "I'm not joking, I'm going to shoot someone, give me your money."

The homeowner then stood up and yelled, "Get out of my house in the name of Jesus!" The other ladies in the home then began to shout the name Jesus. Lee then ran out of the house.

Police say based off of the description given by the women, they were able to give a photo lineup to the women. Several of the ladies pointed out Lee, who was arrested at his home at 11:17 p.m. on Friday night.

Lee was booked into the Columbia County Detention Center on a $200,000 bond for home invasion robbery.

Lee is also being investigated for an attempted robbery at a nearby ATM that happened moments prior to the home invasion.

I am sure Timmy will refute the use of the name of Jesus for protection, nothing miraculous, just that the would be thief got intimidated, that's all!

Actually, as it is with all purported miracles, there is no way of knowing. (I do have my doubts about a Divine intervention, here, though! :lol)

What, in detail, do you think happened? Did God respond the use of the name of Jesus and/or prayers and kick the guy out? Did the guy feel some kind of force pushing him out? Did he maybe see angels protecting the ladies?

Does "the name of Jesus" always work?

I heard this one on the news. He realized he was outnumbered by a bunch of women calling upon the Name of Jesus.

I rejoice that the fear he tried to use on these women turned around and came back on him....only it was the fear of the Lord!
