Shooting in PHX, AZ (Glendale)
 

Older, white male in his 60s shot 3, one in extremely critical condition. 2 others taken to local hospital "because of stressful situation."

Per witnesses, shooter was in mediation at law firm when argument started, he began shooting. There's also a title company and some other businesses in the 3-story building. Police say this was not random, it was a targeted shooting.

Police still looking for the shooter. Several schools were locked-down for a while, a couple have had the lock-down lifted.

I work in a school (which is where I am at now) in Paradise Valley, az -which is rather close. My school tends to greatly overreact to things so I am surprised we're not in lock down mode. (I read the same story an hour ago so I know your not blowing smoke, but apparently none of our faculty have, which I am very thankful for.)

Looking further, only two are on lockdown - Madison No 1 Middle school and the Madison Dist offices. Madison Park Middle School was, but it's been lifted. Camelview, Heights, Meadows, Rose Lane, Simis, Traditional were not locked-down.

I am sure this guy is holed up somewhere right now as the full realization of what he did as a result of "losing his cool" is beginning to sink in.

Is it wrong to say: at least it wasn't a random mass shooting involving a mentally ill person with an assault rifle? :search

I am sure that having "only" shot three he'll have the book thrown at him (not that I would have a problem with that) but had he shot 30, welllllllll, obviously he was mentally ill and is crying out for help.

Did ya'll know that at the newtown school shooting the shooter did not use an assault rifle. It was actually still in the car when the police got there. The shooting was done with handguns. Or atleast this was the earliest report and as far as i know they have never been changed.

It's never good to hear of a shooting of any kind but the Newton shooting had so many inconsistencies in the media reports, who'd know what happened.

Are we going to have reports of very shooting that happens in the country? Because there are on average more than 12,000 of them per year.
