My Mom told me when I was 2 years old I pointed at the Bible and said "Thats a spirit".

The Bible is supernatural to the elect. To the rest just another religous book.

The Prophets and Apostles were moved by God to write.

I believe that the Word of God is infallible but I believe that much was lost in translation and that translation in its self can be faulty.

I'm assuming you mean 'inerrant'. No, the bible we have isn't inerrant but it's the best thing we have.

Lol yes that is what I meant :) . If any of it is wrong who decides what part is in error and what is not?

Let me give an example of error. This doesn't make any difference to me, but something isn't true in comparing the following passages.....

Mat 17:1 Six days later Jesus *took with Him Peter and James and John his brother, and *led them up on a high mountain by themselves. 2 And He was transfigured before them; and His face shone like the sun, and His garments became as white as light.

Luk 9:28 Some eight days after these sayings, He took along Peter and John and James, and went up on the mountain to pray. 29 And while He was praying, the appearance of His face became different, and His clothing became white and gleaming.

No biggie but there's a discrepancy.
