"The Bible" History Channel Mini Series Premiere
 

Tonight, Sunday March 3, 22013, the brand new docu-drama mini series 'The Bible" premieres on the History Channel. (2 hours 7-9 pm CST)

Last fall I saw about a 7 minute sneak peak at this production introduced in person by the producers (Mark Burnett and his wife the actress Roma Downey).

If the entire production lives up to the sneak preview I saw then you will not want to miss this.

I only saw one extended scene with the actor playing Jesus but he was perfectly cast. They intentionally cast an actor unknown to American audiences and for once not British!

We have it set to record but my wife will probably the one to watch the whole thing. It definitely does NOT look cheesy in any way shape or form.

On another note I did hear of a big budget remake of the story of Noah and the ark coming sometime within the year starring Russel Crowe as Noah.

i've been checking on this. i read it will be available in the future on hulu. not sure which website would do online streaming legally.
