Condensed milk makes good key lime pie.

Oh, sorry, you said miking, not milking. These little phones are hard to read sometimes.

What kind of setting would it be used in and how much are you willing to spend?

What is most reasonable but still sounds good ? This would be for use with a small 50 watt amp.

Of the ones CC1 listed, the Shure Beta 52A looks good. To me.

Thanks I need to buy a good mic. I'm using basses with Flatwound strings and a Crate amp.

The Shure Beta 52a is not only a good bass guitar mic but an excellent for the kick bass in a drum kit.

Shure's drum mic kit has four Shure 57's and this microphone. We recently replaced our old mic kit at church with this set and the difference is amazing.

I really need to get a Ampeg amp to really get that vintage old school deep tone.
