I do not know if you missed it, but the rich had their taxes rise, Obamacare is being implemented, and both of these events, among others are causing hiring to freeze, layoffs, and reductions in working hours to commence. Further, the economy never recovered from the recession, rather the perception was created by the government funnelling billioms of dollars into the markets, which created an artificial recovery. However, the bubble is about to go bust, and then where will we be?

Did you read the article brother? Corporations are paying next to nothing in taxes, getting Govt. subsidies as well as billions in refunds. All the while they are shipping jobs overseas. So again I say, If lower tax, or in this case billions in refunds for rich corporations, equate to job, then where in the hades are they?

Besides, corporations do not pay taxes anyway. Only people pay taxes. You pay the corporations taxes for them everytime you buy something at a retail level. When taxes are raised, they either lay off people or raise their prices to absord this cost of doing business. Raising their taxes only makes it harder for them to compete globally. So, while lowering their taxes does not necessarily mean they will hire more people, raising them certainly means they won't.

It's just an ugly race to the bottom to see who can beggar the masses first. And I say this as an employee of one of those too big to fail financial institutions.
