It seems every time I use this site, which has fantastic information, my computer is being hacked.

I always get a pop up juke something wants to do something to my computer, and even though I decline I find them on my computer. Them my computer runs really slow and I have to turn my computer off because it seems to lock up.

I have Norton virus protection on my computer.

Anyone else have this problem?

instead of using ancestry.com I use other sources for my family research. my family is mentioned in some books and websites.
If you need help or advice let me know as I am seeking a degree in historical preservation. Dennis

I use Ancestry all the time and have never had a problem with that kind of thing. There is a phone number where you can contact them. My experience has been that their people have been very helpful when I've needed to call.

I'm kindof leery of ancestry.com myself simply because it's the website that mormons use in their churches to look up their ancestors.

I think they also use Google to search for Mormon things. I'd steer clear.

Maybe ancestry.com uses Java and it needs an update.

If ancestry.com was good enough for Paul and Silas, it's good enough for me.
