Summer Camp for Mature Teen Girl?

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I want to send my niece to a camp for the summer-- at least two or three weeks, but preferably longer.

She needs to get out of the house and I want to help her by getting her to a structured (hopefully Christian) environment to help her see that there is life outside of her understanding.

The camp can be anywhere in the country, but definitely PREFER MD, West Virginia, or Florida.

She has a sweet spot somewhere under her hard exterior and I know God can melt her heart. I'd like to help facilitate that. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Outside of the country is an option, but not sure how far her Mom would let her go.

You might check with the local Salvation Army, or Gospel Mission Churches in your area. We are out here in the northwest, and I know there are a lot of summer camps for kids in our area. The Union Gospel Mission provides one for teenagers who never get to go outside, and explore nature, and experience Jesus here in this area. Perhaps there is one in your area. I bet if you did some calling around in your local area, you probably could find one.

Of course, I know you'd like to hear someone who has already experienced one to know for sure.

Are you particular about the denomination the camp would fall under?

As long as the camp is not sponsored by the jw's, Mormons, or Muslims, I'm ok with it.
