I know someone posted the YouTube clip of this Arab festival. I didn't follow the story and was surprised to see this article today - the follow up...

While I would not walk around with a pigs head on a pole, all people have a right to be stupid. I dislike the art so-called "blaspheming" Christ yet it is the right of stupid people to be stupid.

I hear all the time about the "religion of peace". Islam is anything but a "religion of peace". Muhammad was a pervert. that is simply a fact. He married a 6 year old girl and consummated that marriage when she was 9 years old.

I agree that we do have a right, under our Constitution, to be stupid. My only question is, why do we have to be as Christians? Offending them is not going to win them. It's a no-brainer. Provoking someone to anger is not a good Christian principle. They must be related to Phelps. Ugh!

I remember the original story, but I don't remember reading the part about the pig's head. Really people!?! Obviously I don't condone the violence towards these people, but it's hard for me to sympathize with morons. It's almost as if they WANTED a confrontation. They WANTED to provoke anger and violence, then cry about being "persecuted."

There's stupid and then there's this special kind of stupid they displayed.
