The administration lied about this too! Senator McConnell sent a letter last year complaining about what he thought was a targeted effort by the IRS against conservative orgs. The administration said it wasn't happening. Now the expect to get away with a simple apology!

They should be forced to pay a penalty and any extra costs incurred by these orgs.
