Brothers and Sisters,
I have just returned after spending a year in Kenya and just heard about Terry Black. My heart goes out to everyone involved. I have not been able to find out what happened. Does anyone know THE TRUTH?

Yea, there is a nice long thread with all kinds of juicy gossip and all kinds of bloody fights and all kinds of misdirection right here on AFF. Have at it; I am sure it will make a wonderful read!


Here is the bottom line.

He had a very serious problem keeping his bifurcated garment in proper place. That lead to confrontation with church elders which led to his departure from the church he had long pastored.

The church has moved on, elected a new pastor and we all pray become all that God intends for it.

The reverend with the bifurcated garment issue continues to preach, but mostly among circles he once claimed too liberal to "fellowship".

I am not sure how holyhair helped in this situation

Thank you for the info... I use to be on here under another screen name, but could not access the site so had to set up another profile. I do however remember a time when this site did not have all the drama.

I can not imagine any true Apostolic fighting amongst themselves. :happydance

just want to point out that our friend here has been a good solid basher of the the more conservative wing of the OP movment... the part in bold is (I am sure) in keeping with that general sentiment.

I remember it not being funny back then. That has not changed.
