Router WiFi Question
I'll move this to tech talk soon...
For you techies out there... I have DSL Internet coming in to my office. I have a couple hardlines coming off the router and wifi. One of the hard lines run about a hundred yards over to the house. Internet works fine where we connect that line to the commuter. However, the office wifi does not function well over at the house. What to do? 1. Booster signal/antenna of some sort 2. add another router over at the house and hook to the line already there to get the wifi 3. other? |
Re: Router WiFi Question
We had to get a bridge for downstairs, my office/man-cave is where the router is located is upstairs. The signal was so weak on my blue-ray player hooked to my TV (downstairs) that it would constantly cut out.
Since we have had the bridge it has worked just fine. |

I'd try something like this:
Amped Wireless High Power Wireless-N Smart Repeater and Range Extender (SR300) http://amzn.com/B004NBL9WK |

Otherwise since you already have a network cable ran then just buy a second router and plug that cable into the new router |
