AG Holder Ignores Congressional Deadline

Attorney General Eric Holder has missed the deadline set by the House Judiciary Committee to explain his testimony from May 15th in which he appears to perjure himself.

Like his President, Holder is arrogant and believes no one can question or hold him accountable.

I hope the committee subpoenas Holder and forces him to appear before the committee again. And I hope Congress see this latest arrogance as an affront to the powers of Congress and impeaches him.

Of course, today Jay Carney said Holder had the "absolute confidence" of the President and that he was doing an outstanding job.

Time to impeach his back side, and the rest of him as well. Ah, but will the gutless Republicans have the guts? They're probably too afraid of Holder's skin color to even go after him.

Re: AG Holder Ignores Congressional Deadline

Valerie Jarrett (shadow President) says Holder is staying.

Quote:

"One of the things that you learn in this business is, don't listen to rumors. You can take it from me. Obviously, I know the president pretty well. And I know the attorney general very well. and he will be in his position for quite a while."
Her next statement is laughable:

Quote:

"Eric never loses sight of what he's there for," said Jarrett. "He's there to be the chief lawyer for the United States of America and to make sure that all of our rights are protected, and to defend our country, to make sure that he is an advocate for those whose civil rights have been infringed upon--anyone whose rights have been infringed upon. And there are people all around the country who are counting on him to be the attorney general. And so yes he is resistant, and he is tough, and he is strong, and he is perfectly capable of defending himself, and he is an outstanding attorney general, who enjoys the full confidence of the president of the United States."

It's up to Congress to impeach him. I doubt either side has the stones to do so.
