nDavid! Where have you been? :happydance DealDash is the big thing in buying merchandise at a cheap rate by bidding on it on the internet! You buy bids and then use them to bid on merchandise. The price of each item goes up 1 penny each bid. Google it! Not recommending it nor have I bid. Was just wondering if anyone on AFF had.

I'm thinkin you could spend more buying bids than the item would cost you to buy it outright. :foottap

The old saying about "if it looks too good to be true it usually is" fits in this case. Like most of these scams a few people come out on top but the vast majority of people do not.

I am on a business trip and my wife called me all excited today because she thought we had gotten a letter from Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines giving us a 7 night cruise and airfare. It is a cruise line we have used several times before and really like. I told her it was a scam but she insisted it was RCCL because it said "Royal Caribbean Cruises". I had to explain to her the slight difference in names. A lot of people get sucked in by stuff like that because they don't pay attention to details. Once I got her to read the fine print they actually said they were not associated with RCCL.

If they are giving you a cruise with airfare, does it matter if it's 'them' or not? LOL!

If you think somebody is going to give you a 7 day cruise with airfare with no catches to it then I have some ocean front property in Arizona I would like to sell you!

I have entered some legitimate sweepstakes that have cruises as prizes but this is not one of those. They don't even claim you have won anything but use similar language that a lot of people equate with having won a sweepstakes.
