Who Is The Holy Spirit?
I'll post what I believe and you don't have to agree. There will be many arguments.
Our Creator is our Father, we are the sons and daughters of Him and one with Him, and the holy spirit is the spirit of love between the two. Jesus was the Father in the flesh but used as an example of how things are between us and our Creator. The universal language is the language of love written on our hearts once the spirit of truth came to us. I pray to Jesus in my own name in the holy spirit of love. Remember that the word God is used for the word love many times in the Bible. If we love our Creator and each other we will follow the ways of love because we love and not because of any laws or rules--these are in remission to allow the maturation of love in mankind. There is only one God, the godhead itself is Him, us and the holy spirit--Love. I firmly believe this and I firmly believe that this is where all the confusion is coming from. Yeshua Bless You |
Re: Who Is The Holy Spirit?
What do you mean by "Spirit of love"? What is a Spirit? Your explanation is circular.
Also what do you mean you pray in your own name? |

He created all flesh and says that it belongs to Him, our souls are ours with acceptance and love of the truth. All flesh are the sons and daughters of God. His name is Jesus. He is our Father, we are His children within the veil. My name as a child of Jesus is Sheila in a unity of the holy spirit of divine Love. This IS the so called trinity that is really no trinity but a unity of the soul with our creator. Love is perfected with the forgiveness of all mankind. This has to be true and tested--really felt and understood to be the truth before He will reveal answers sought. He tests us through trials and tribulations for heartfelt answers. Yeshua Bless You |

And please explaining doing stuff in your own name. I don't understand. I thought we are to do all in His name |
Re: Who Is The Holy Spirit?
Think of the holy spirit as just an emotion. True holiness comes from a perfect and divine love. The invisible God isn't just a spirit but a real entity with power, intelligence and emotion. He is real and exists within us and with us. You can't speak of God without the word spirit, this is why the Bible is sometimes confusing. It was also hard for God to define and explain Himself or we would all understand everything about Him.
He is real and He made us--Isaiah 46:4 God is spirit---John 4:24 God is love----1 John 4:8 God is our creator--Isaiah 40:28 God is holy and divine--Isaiah 57:15 Spirit of God--Genesis 1:2 God our creator is married to us (meaning joint existence/co-ownership)--Jeremiah 3:14 God is the way, truth and life--John 14:6 --His name is Jesus |

To teach others to abuse love, to hate our neighbors, to reject the ways and teachings of God--Is this blasphemy? If this is blasphemy against God, love and holiness, then isn't the holy spirit the spirit of a divine love? The Father is this PLUS intelligence, wisdom, etc. What He shares with us is His LOVE, which encompasses all that we need to be but not ALL His intelligence. There is no trinity. |

The context of that verse was to refer to the Spirit of God as a demonic power. I never said there was a Trinity... |
Re: Who Is The Holy Spirit?
Praise God, the Lord Jesus Christ. For myself Shelia, I need to understand God by what his word says. And not attach my ideas to his word. You obviously love the Lord. I think maybe where the religious world went wrong. Was trying to explain God by there own understanding, and not by his word. Lets stick to the Bible. God bless
