Health insurance
My body is breaking down. I think it's about time to invest in health insurance while my issues are still treatable. Okay, so... Who is your insurance provider? What kind of rates do you pay? What do they cover?

Re: Health insurance
I get it from my employer. 25 dollar copy, 250 deductible for something major.Dental and vision included. Plus I have supplemental insurance from colonial for cancer, critical illness, and accidents that I pay around 20 a week for, plus they give me money for blood tests etc.

In that case, might I suggest the Ayurvedic Plan?

Re: Health insurance
I honestly believe that health insurance is quite important these days. Though, it's a big spending item once one adds a wife and kids and the expense is getting worse. By the way, a survey by the Kaiser Family Foundation discovered lately that family health insurance rates are continuing to trend way up. Gladly, you can pay your health insurance premium with an installment loan.

Re: Health insurance
Have you been to the site to apply? Obamacare isn't Medicaid where you must meet certain financial hardship standards to qualify. Obamacare is a mandate that every American must pay for health insurance (either on their own or supplemented through an employer) or pay tax penalties if they do not have health insurance. If you are even thinking that you need/want health insurance, it makes sense to enroll ASAP. The deadline for 2014 enrollment ends tomorrow. Anyone who has not signed up for an insurance plan by the end of the day tomorrow will have to pay a fine (I.e. Tax) when they fill out their taxes next year. If you make more than a certain amount, (the example given is more than $19,650 for a single adult), your penalty is 1% your yearly annual income. (I.e. Single adult making $40,000 would pay $400) And the penalty increases each year you don't have coverage. https://www.healthcare.gov/what-if-i...alth-coverage/
Check out the marketplace on healthcare.gov, where - after you fill in all the pertinent details - it will give you a selection of plans to choose from - which you will have to pay a monthly premium to keep the insurance active. If you don't get to it tomorrow, the government will come after you to pay them a fee, just like any other unpaid taxes. Better to pay for insurance than to pay the government for nothing. |
Actually, obama extended the deadline....again. He may as well just do away with the deadlines, since they've extended all of them anyway.
