Re: Time To Stack The Courts!!!!

Of course the Dems will demand a reversal of the repeal when the GOP retakes the Senate.

Exactly. I remember when W was President and Trent Lott threatened to use the nuke option; Dems, including Reid, went ballistic.

It's all politics and it's cyclical.

I can't wait for after the 2014 elections, when the Republicans re-take the Senate and use this against the Dems. You wait, Dems will be crying about how unconstitutional or how un-American the nuke option is.

even if the repubs take the senate in 2014, how will that effect judicial appointments? repubs need the white house to make appointments. and what issue is going to sway the obama coalition to vote republican? dems will be holding the white house for the next 10 to 20 years if dems can hold the center/left coalition.

Seriously? How will it affect Judicial appointments? If the Republicans retake the Senate, the nuke option doesn't work; if they retake the Senate, they'll have the majority and all of this stupidity by the Democrats does not thing to help them, and in fact just backfires and will be used against them.

The Democrats have been so blindsided and knocked silly by the massive explosion that was obamacare, that they're not thinking clearly; and certainly they're not thinking about the long-term effects of the nuke option they just triggered.

Only if obamacare is repealed will the Dems win the White House in 2016. Hillary Clinton or whomever is the Democratic nominee will need to do what McCain did to GWB in '08. obama is so toxic to Democrats right now that the Democratic nominee will have to distance her/himself from obama and especially obamacare.

This proves the Democrats are dishonest. Obama and his crew all whined about this before saying we should NOT get rid of it when the Republicans were in power. The liars flipped now that they are in power.

If that is not a bad sign that our nation is heading down the toilet nothing will convince you.

Furthermore, this also shows that the Democrats are not patriots at all. They will or would change our system of government to suit themselves

Lastly this shows how incompetent they are. Should the Republicans get in power and a Republican President be elected, they will be whining and complaining over this "mistake" they made. Typical Democratic move to say one thing then later claim it was a mistake or blame someone else.

They did it with Iraq, voting for the war then later saying they were against it (Only after the tide of public opinion turned), they did it with the Filibuster and they did it with Obamacare. They are too incompetent to run a government and come up with policies on their own.

God help America

I think you are misjudging the effects of obamacare on the public. I personally don't know the percentages, but my impression is that the percentage of people being negatively impacted is relatively small compared to the number of people who will benefit or not be impacted at all. You are a typical republican, forming opinions based on fox news and extreme ideological passion instead of scientific or common sense rationale.

Even CNN paints a bleak outlook on Obamacare

There have been 5 million since October who have lost the insurance obama promised them they could keep. An independent group claims that there will be another 50 to 100 million who will be dropped from their insurance provider next October. There have been many more, also not sure the exact percentage, who have had their rates blow through the roof.

BTW, the number who have "benefited" from obamacare is barely over 100,000 people. That's the number of people enrolled or with an account set up. These are not my numbers. They are not FoxNews' numbers. These are the numbers which the obama administration released to the public.

So you do the math. I'm pretty sure 5 million is greater than just over 100,000.

Also - 1) I'm not a typical Republican. I'm a registered Republican, but I don't agree with everything the party does, nor every Congress person. 2) I don't have cable and don't watch FoxNews; nor do I listen to Limbaugh, Hannity or any other conservative radio talk show host. I find political radio talk shows to be annoying and extremely biased, bordering on the ridiculous. 3) I form opinions based on fact, polling and news data, and the obvious.
