Former AFF Posters

I was just thing about some the former posters.....T Landry, coonskinner, Atlanta, Thad.......and now Elder Epley. I am probably leaving out several.

I go back to FCF as well. You almost feel like you knew them after a while. I pm'd and got to know most and in some cases where they lived and actual names (Thad). Was a lot fun reading their post/debates. Landry got upset a couple of times, lol. I guess the thread about lurkers prompted me to post this since I don't really log in as much anymore.

Yeah, I've been around since FCF too. I miss them too.

Some of the lurkers or those that don't post here much or often, like myself, probably do so because they get fed up with not being able to lend their full opinion. Some of us have been sensored so much that we are willing to not speak at all. I don't mean to actually speak for everyone, but I can speak about what some of us have discussed on other "forums." We realize there are rules, but we realize that we can't be fully voiced here at times.

Yeah Jack, I have never taken the lead on any topics on here. Usually just threw in an opinion from time to time. I have taken the time to read lengthy post if they catch my attention up front. But on some of the 3-4 page post no matter how detailed or well written I time out after a page. Just me and my ADD.

I've never really been part of the crowd. I rarely come, though I rarely log out. I think it's been close to a month since my last post.

We are often censored when discussing same-sex issues and other social/political issues. You may not have noticed it because you don't read out PM's :)

By censored you mean you're not allowed to promote your acceptance of sin. Who would've thought that on Apostolic Friends Forum your promotion of SSM wouldn't be accepted or allowed.

Maybe you'd feel more accepted with the Affirming Pentecostal Church International. :nod

Just saying. :thumbsup
