Boldness On The Day Of Judgment

Are you confident you will be accepted by Yeshua on judgment day? There is an assurance spoken of by the Apostle John.

7 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. 1 John 4:17

The truth of the matter is this: If we are LIKE YESHUA we can be confident we will be accepted by him.

If we abide in him we can have CONFIDENCE before him at his coming!

And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. 1 John 2:28

Obviously if we are not like Yeshua, neither abide in him, we have no real confidence before God. Todays false teachers give you assurance apart from truth.

Allow the work of the Spirit in making you like Christ! Abide (remain) in him. Let him be your closest companion.

Yeah, this is a bit weird, I was thinking about this earlier... I hear a lot from people who call their selves christians, that when you ask them about heaven, or when you talk to them about their assurance of going to heaven when they die, it's usually a lot of "IF we go to heaven" "no one knows for sure" "we hope that we go to heaven" etc... then when someone dies, the same ones will say that that person went to heaven.

If you don't have any assurance of where you're going when you die, and if everything is up in the air, where you're just guessing about your salvation, shouldn't you be a bit scared, and more diligent in your walk, since there's only two places to go?

For sure.

I believe we should be just as diligent, to seek to know how we are to love, as we were to seek for the Holy Ghost.

The Holy Ghost “spreads the love of God abroad in out hearts,” and yet we see many that don't demonstrate this. That let's me to know, that there is a lot to learn as to how to let that love come thru. And it is LOVE that perfects us to have boldness.

But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. 6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. 1 John 2:5-6

I think we need to work on boldness now

Ephesians 3:12

Because of Christ and our faith in him, we can now come boldly and confidently into God's presence.

Hebrews 10:19

And so, dear brothers and sisters, we can boldly enter heaven's Most Holy Place because of the blood of Jesus.
