The longterm effect of ObamaCare on the U.S. economy took a grim turn Tuesday with the Congressional Budget Office issuing a revised projection that nearly 2.5 million workers could opt out of full-time jobs over the next 10 years -- allowing employers to wipe 2.3 million full-time jobs off the books.
Budget experts say that because ObamaCare offers an insurance alternative to employer provided coverage, many Americans who hold full-time jobs may decide to work part-time -- or not at all -- and get their coverage from the exchanges.

How many times have you heard of someone working at a place, not because they like the job or their wages, but they are there for the insurance?

No need for the Republicans to mention this positive aspect of "Obamacare" either. Just focus on the negative and everything will be alright.

Certainly, and if marijuana becomes legalized across the country, the dreams will be big! :heeheehee

Seriously, how does it make sense to set aside money for retirement, discretionary spending, etc. when your work hours are cut in half? And how does that promote a healthy economy? And what percentage of these people are going to actually pursue an entrepreneurial dream? We've seen how well that has worked under the welfare system. We also saw how that worked when my husband was on unemployment for a few months. We had to pull the money out of savings. Now we are having to build that back up.

Our family went through a financial difficulty last year. We had paid unemployment taxes for years. However, when we needed to get a few unemployment dollars (that we had faithfully paid in) guess what, the state we lived in had just passed a law saying that corporate officers of a corporation would not be eligible for unemployment $$, even though they continued taking our unemployment tax dollars!!!!

We never got ONE RED PENNY of unemployment $$ because our state had passed a stupid law taking that away from us.

To make matters worse... there is a federal law which in effect means that if you choose not to pay state unemployment taxes, you are subjected to a higher federal tax bracket, which in effect means you "save" money paying the unemployment taxes to the state, rather than paying the higher federal tax. NUTS!!!!!

So, we are caught in the dilemma, of paying unemployment taxes to the state (of which we will never get a penny of) in order to not pay more money to the feds.

We never got one penny of help from the government when we suffered a loss of income last year. Not one penny. We too drained our savings to keep afloat, and it will take us years to recover.

Oh yeah... the government loves hardworking folks like us! We pay our taxes, and fund the welfare system, following the American entrepreneurial spirit that supports dead beats. The American economic system is not sustainable, and I fear for the difficulties our kids will have to face because of decisions being made now.

Along with the other GOP Establishment Republicans, he is fighting against the Constitutional Conservatives. He doesn't sound better now. You appear to be sucked into the lie.

What we have before us is a Constitutional crises. In order for the people to rise up, it needs to come to a head. Romney would have done nothing but move along with the status quo.

I saw a clip of his documentary where he is ironing the sleeve of his shirt. LOL! What a crock. I can't imagine people fawning over a staged documentary. He isn't going to allow them to release anything he deems unfavorable.

I'd much rather have the fight before us today. If the Left wins and the GOP Establishment doesn't fight for us, which appears to be the case, we have lost already.

Fortunately, the American people are, regardless of what the news is saying, waking up.
