Just remember that recording use up a LOT of space and an Ipad won't have a lot unless you plan on transfering them to a PC then deleting. An Ipad is probably not the best thing to use. If they have a sound system better is to record directly from the board to a CD or a PC or even a Thumb drive if the board can do that

Italk is a pretty easy app Sis. Alvear. GarageBand is a bit more complex but allows you to add musical intros and post directly to a podcast. Hope this helps. God Bless

Buy you the largest thumb drive you can find and give to the soundman and ask him to record the service for you.

You can also use a simple mp3 memo recorder. Before iPad and tablets, a friend of mine used that to record his messages in a new church plant. He was able to connect a lapel mic to the recorder, which was carried in his packet. The nice thing with those is they're already to be burned on CDs or put in an online podcast.

IMO, this is better than taking up space on an iPad and having to transfer everything, or getting a thumb drive.
