Yup. My husband and I were being spied on today.

As my husband was hiking around our property earlier today, I received a call from him that he had spotted a baby moose and that momma was close by. I came over, and managed to get a few pictures from a distance. We didn't want to spook her. She was busy eating our fir trees, and keeping an eye on us. We stayed behind trees and she never took her eyes off us. We know how dangerous momma moose can be, so we stayed far away from her, and I took pictures with the zoom lens of my camera. She also spent some time licking the baby too. It was an incredible moment for us to watch, even at a distance!

D'ja see the FB video of the baby moose playing in the lawn sprinkler? mom came into the yard, and got wet too--i'd have to try it! :D

Thanks shazeep! The videos are great! I watched another one of the moose in the garden. I don't know that I would have been as nice as the man videoing it, if a big moose began to eat up my garden! LOL...
