The mind is a machine that any ghost can operate

That's a quote by Sir John C. Eccles (27 Jan 1903 - 2 May 1997) an Australian physiologist who shared the 1963 Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine for his research in how signals pass between nerves and muscles.

Through that knowledge together with the scripture that God gives in His word about avoiding things that would alter your mind we know that ALL drugs (both legal and illegal) are opening a gateway to a person's mind for evil spirits.

Therefore people taking drugs are opening themselves to demon possession.

This explains a lot of the things we are seeing in society as more and more people are giving themselves to drugs both legal and illegal ones.

I agree with your comment.

Everybody now wants to act like everything is OK. Live and let live. For the most part I have worried about myself and my family. I would like to bring up something I learned.

People who drink heavily and use drugs have a much higher percentage of neglect, negligence, abuse; verbal, physical and sexual in their family.

So if you see some man or woman buy legal marijuana you might think they are only hurting themselves. Not so. What if they have kids at home? What if they are watching someone elses kids? What if someone is watching your kids and you don't know they like to use pot? And then they have some of their friends come around?

In countries where they legalized many drugs they are rethinking their drug laws. Why? Because their social services have skyrocketed. Kids are being hurt and abused.

Where did I learn all of this? At college in a Criminal Justice class. They teach police officers this material because this is what they will be dealing with.

That is the truth about the skyrocket rate of problems that come with legalized drugs. Yet... because we live in a democracy the majority that vote make the changes.

Colorado is going to pay the price but then it will have cost too much.

One of my friends is on the sheriff's dept. Some of the stories he tells us are horrific and people wonder why cops are the way they are. What I'm also talking about is legal medications as well that have seeped into every corner of society - including the church. I was surprised to learn how many Pentecostals (and all denominations) are on prescription mind altering drugs. People don't realize that just because some MD writes you a script for something it doesn't protect the person from the demonic effects of letting their mind be affected by mind/mood altering drugs. People would be shocked at the number of people that are walking around all doped up.

Not trying to hijack the thread but...

I know someone who delivers mail. They say the amount of pornography delivered to certain houses on a regular basis is astonishing. They also said that it is amazing how many couples are splitting up/divorcing/moving out. They said it is hard not to link the two things together.

Does the mail deliverer open the mail?

Porn is not shipped in packaging that is labeled "porn."

No they do not open your mail.

Field and Stream and Better Homes and Garden are shipped open with only a shipping address on the front cover. You can look at the front of the magazine or flip through and read all of the articles.

There are other magazines that have to be shipped in a wrapped package so that you can not see the front or back cover or flip through the magazine. So a normal person would make the conclusion that something is private or not suitable for the general public to see.

The average person who delivers the mail sees thousand and thousands of pieces of mail a day. Just by looking at the outer package and the return address they can give you a pretty good educated guess of what is inside.

So when a house is foreclosed on, returned checks, prescription drugs, court appearances, all of this stuff is delivered by your mail carrier. They know much more about you and your neighbors than you probably think.
